  • Motherhouse Market

Motherhouse Market promotes earth-friendly life-styles by providing homesteading helps and local products. Look for us during the summer months at the West Cornwall Farmers Market where we offer fresh bread from Bantam Bakery, cheese from Sprout Creek Farm, Cloverdale cleaning supplies, and hand-crafted items made by area residents. Many of our goods are available at our workshops or pick-up can be arranged through our market mother Rhonda Jaacks.

Heidi Lindberg came to a Motherhouse OSLSS workshop and felt like she had finally come home. It’s only natural to want to help out at home, so she got involved. These days she handles finances for Motherhouse while running her Animal Care Service form her home in Windsor, CT.

Brett Figlewski grew up in the Litchfield Hills and remains        enamored of their gentle beauty.  He has always had a poet’s heart & desires to interpret signs of seemingly ordinary grace.  Brett is an attorney with Sanctuary for Families, Center for Battered Women’s  Legal Services, in New York City, and lives in the heart of Hitchcock Corners. He likes to kidd around.
