  • Motherhouse Market

Motherhouse Market promotes earth-friendly life-styles by providing homesteading helps and local products. Look for us during the summer months at the West Cornwall Farmers Market where we offer fresh bread from Bantam Bakery, cheese from Sprout Creek Farm, Cloverdale cleaning supplies, and hand-crafted items made by area residents. Many of our goods are available at our workshops or pick-up can be arranged through our market mother Rhonda Jaacks.

Library Shelf

Motherhouse offers a growing collection of books and magazines for loan, thanks to many generous donations of time, materials, and money. Visit our dedicated shelf in the Cornwall Free Library Children’s Room, Cornwall, CT. It is the fourth shelf on the left of the E. F. Lansing Children’s Wing of the library. Our unique collection is available for loan to provide support, encouragement, and opportunity for mothers and others to strengthen parenting skills, to broaden life views, and to improve family and personal physical, emotional and spiritual health. You will find topics which speak to the soul of mothers, including pregnancy, parenting, spirituality, feminism, health, and women’s issues, such as:
