Cornwall Community Country Dances
Country Dances are family-friendly fun. Lively music is generously provided by our own “open” Betsy’s Band. Warm up with waltzes from 6:45 to 7:00. Then jump right into circle, contra, or square dances. These traditional-style dances are taught and led by a “caller.” The caller teaches the dance and helps the dancers “walk through” the dance before the music starts. S/he continues “calling” instructions throughout the dance. Folks of all ages & abilities are welcome in this everybody-wins team sport.
